HOW IT WORKS

Participating restaurants will donate a dish they feel best represents them. Small plates of tastings will be served by a restaurant representative at the event to showcase each business. Participants will have prominent logo placement on all promotional materials for the event and have the ability to meet dozens of potential customers from all the Upper East Side neighbors, press and local politicians. Attendees will vote for their favorite restaurant and a winner will be named at the end of the event and presented with a plaque.

Morningside K8 Academy is a Title I public school where over 90% of our students come from low-income families. All funds raised will go towards field trips, technology, new playgrounds, teacher grants, programming for students and more.

The event is from 3:00 to 6:00pm. We ask restaurants to plan to arrive at the school to set up by 2pm at the latest, 11am at the earliest.

We will supply paper plates, napkins and plastic cutlery. If you feel you need some thing more than this please bring with you. Previous years, we've had as many as 350 attendees. We will share an ongoing headcount as we sell tickets.

We will be setting up tables around our courtyard, shaded and undercover, for each participating business. We can make signs with your business name, address and what it is you are serving. Please let use know what dish(es) you plan to bring asap. If you require anything specific for your table please note that in your reply such as power, ice, etc.

We will be organizing volunteers to those businesses who need help. Please let us know if you need a volunteer.

If you are unable to participate in the full event, we ask you to consider donating a gift certificate, gift basket or other goodie we can use as part of our raffle.
